Robots in Orbit Stylish shirts FROM THE FUTURE About Us Robots have a right to be stylish too. The best business ideas are ones that you have a passionate interest in and that serves a niche market. Robots in Orbit really started assembly back in 1993 while shopping in a fabric store. My husband, who only wore black and white at the time, and really hated accompanying me on my fabric forays, shocked me when he approached with a colorful, checkered children's print - featuring robots that appeared to spin and float between the checks. "Will you make me a shirt out of this?" and thus it began. About 40 something shirts later I didn't want to admit it, but hunting down cool prints and sewing his shirts had clearly become my hobby - wearing these awesome and funky patterns had become his. They expressed his individuality just like T-shirts, but unlike T-shirts the button down camp shirt was appropriate for any occasion - casual, work, nice restaurants..... We pay attention to detail, recognizing that each print needs to be matched with just the right button or thread color. An extra button is sewn on the inside hem next to the care tag just in case you ever need to replace one of the front buttons. We carry men's plus sizes up to 3X and our shirts are made in the USA. We are definitely not mass market. And you won't find our shirts any where else! We manufacture our own line and sell only on this website. Almost all of our shirts are also limited editions - when we sell out of a batch, that's it! That means we are constantly adding new prints, so keep checking back, or sign up on our email list to be notified about new products.
